Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
3. Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure accurate allocation of revenues and expenditures per project.
4. Coordinate with project managers to review budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of ongoing projects.
5. Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries, suppliers, and subcontractors.
6. Prepare and submit VAT and tax declarations in compliance with local regulations.
7. Assist in internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
8. Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation schedules.
9. Implement and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting companies.
