The Real Estate Manager oversees and optimizes a diverse real estate portfolio for a Construction and Contracting company. This role involves managing day-to-day property operations, conducting investment analysis, and performing market research to support strategic decision-making and maximize asset value. The position also contributes to long-term planning and development initiatives, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping real estate strategies, driving performance improvements, and supporting client investment objectives.

Additionally, the Real Estate Manager is expected to mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment, while continuously developing their own professional expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the organization’s real estate portfolio by conducting regular assessments and implementing strategies to optimize property performance and value, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, using analytical tools to support investment decisions and enhance portfolio profitability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans for property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments.
  4. Oversee property management operations, including tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and compliance with local regulations, to ensure a high standard of service and satisfaction.
  5. Prepare detailed financial analyses, reports, and presentations for stakeholders, using advanced Excel skills and financial modeling to support strategic recommendations.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including real estate brokers, contractors, and government agencies, to facilitate smooth transactions and partnerships.
  7. Monitor and manage budgets for real estate projects, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to timelines while identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  8. Lead negotiations for lease agreements and property transactions, employing strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  9. Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Education: BA in Business or any related field

Experience: 6+ years of experience in the field
