We are seeking a fresh graduate in Electrical Engineering to join our construction and contracting team as an Electrical Site Engineer. The role will support the supervision, coordination, inspection, and documentation of electrical works on site while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and project schedules.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in supervising electrical installation works on site, including power, lighting, cable containment, panels, earthing, and related building services.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, BOQ requirements, and material submittals before and during execution.
- Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to avoid conflicts and delays.
- Inspect completed electrical works, identify deviations or quality issues, and follow up on corrective actions in coordination with the responsible team.
- Prepare site progress updates, inspection requests, material requests, measurements, and other technical documentation required for project follow-up.
- Ensure that electrical works are executed in accordance with safety procedures, approved methods, project standards, and the agreed construction schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of relevant internship or site experience in construction are acceptable.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, construction drawings, technical specifications, and site installation practices.
- Ability to read electrical layouts and single-line diagrams; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English; willingness to work on construction sites and learn under the guidance of senior engineers.
WORKING HOURS/ DAYS: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; 2 Saturdays per month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
