We are hiring an Executive Chef to join our Client Team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both standalone restaurants and hotel culinary environments, with a proven ability to balance innovation, quality, and operational efficiency

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop signature dishes and concepts, incorporating both international and Lebanese/Mediterranean influences.
  • Innovate menu offerings regularly based on seasonality, customer feedback, and food trends.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Monitor food costs and maintain cost-effective operations without compromising standards.
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP protocols are followed rigorously.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the culinary brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Recruit and develop chefs from diverse backgrounds while maintaining a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the F&B and hotel teams to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
  • Interact with guests as needed to gather feedback and promote signature dishes and events.
  • Support marketing teams with culinary content, events, and brand activations.
  • Leverage experience from standalone restaurants to infuse creativity and independence into the hotel’s dining concepts.
  • Apply knowledge of market dynamics, customer preferences, and P&L responsibility developed through standalone operations.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in sales (preferably in auto parts or a related industry). 
  • Strong understanding of Lebanese, Mediterranean, and international cuisines.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, financial acumen, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver excellence in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
